The Gender Advocacy and Women Resource Centre (GAWRC) joined stakeholders from the gender, justice, technology and advocacy sectors at the Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) Workshop and Nana Chatbot Unveiling held on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, at Soul Hall, Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Organised by the Women in Leadership Advancement Network (WILAN Global), the workshop provided a platform for participants to deepen their understanding of technology-facilitated gender-based violence, examine its impact on women and girls, and explore practical approaches to prevention, digital safety and survivor-centred response.
The event also featured the unveiling and live demonstration of Nana, an AI-powered digital safety assistant developed by WILAN Global to provide accessible information and guidance on preventing and responding to TFGBV.
