The event drew an impressive turnout as women, men, and young people gathered in unity to show support, stand in solidarity, and lend their voices to the fight against online abuse. Their presence demonstrated the growing awareness of the rising cases of digital violence and the need for collective action.

GAWRC emphasized that sports, especially football, remain a powerful tool to spark conversations on digital safety, digital rights, and the urgent need to protect women and girls from online harm. The football match served not only as entertainment but as a strong advocacy platform to highlight the importance of safer digital spaces.

Together with the Odi Community, we are raising our voices, raising awareness, and raising champions committed to ending digital violence.
GAWRC remains steadfast in promoting the safety, dignity, and rights of women and girls—online and offline.
