Delta State (May 2025)
The Gender Advocacy and Women Resource Centre (GAWRC) has conducted a community entry exercise in Urhomarho, Delta State, as part of the preparatory phase for Project Zero Tolerance for GBV.
The visit introduced the project to community leaders and members, fostering dialogue on the prevention of gender-based violence and laying the groundwork for collective ownership of the initiative.
Through this engagement, the Gender Advocacy and Women Resource Centre emphasized the importance of community involvement in tackling GBV and highlighted that sustainable solutions can only be achieved when leaders and residents unite to take action.
